day 191: saturday morning

subject: jeans
why? On Saturday's after breakfast we usually head to memorial city mall. The temperature is cool. There is a train, there is a castle for Cash to play in. There is target with a cars and truck aisle. We can just do alot there. And Dad usually takes Cash while mom gets maybe 30 minutes in a store. Today I had something to return. They asked if I wanted to look around. I didn't really want to look, but since they asked, I snagged a few jeans.

It is amazing to me how we are all built so differently. And yet I always feel jeans are often made for the same body type.  Straight, narrow, no hip or thighs kind of gals with nice long legs.

The before: a picture of the jeans I set out to try on.

The after: either I have a big butt and need to go sizes up just to fit my bottom in or else I have a teeny tiny waist and it is abnormally smaller because everyone else in America would fill out that waistband more.
It is comedic to me how big of a gap I am left with. This I didn't buy the jeans.

To my friends who can buy jeans off the rack. You are blessed.

  1. I feel your pain on this one girl! I have the same problem. And Gap seems to be the worst for me - tight in the booty and a "Gap" at the waist! Maybe thats where the name comes from!
