day 192: beauty with a prick

subject: flowers with thorns
why? There is no real before and after here. But some flower images I like. And these must all be different variety of roses. But I wanted to point out that it is amazing these flowers are so incredibly beautiful and yet they have thorns to protect them. Who would have thought they needed the thorns for protection.  But I suppose they are necessary to keep the bad away. What kind of thorns do you wear to protect youself?

 

I love this photo because of how the petals fall in an almost perfect swirl pattern. Isn't that cool?

I  love this photo because I love the color of these roses. It is such a pleasant color.

I love this picture because I love how the rose is mostly white but then has these beautiful pink tips.

These aren't roses but a cactus that has a beautiful bud but also look at those amazing thorns to protect the flower. I of course love the deep red-orange flower. I also like the hint of blue sky in the background of this photo.
