why? Kiwi has always fascinated me. From the outside it is fuzzy and kind of ugly. It is brown and little. And then when you cut it open. It is an explosion of bright green color and perfect prettiness. What an amazing fruit. I wonder how many you can eat at a time. Because there is a lot of work to cut and peel them and you lose part of the fruit in the process but they are oh so good. I think that is their disguise. They look ugly on the outside so that you dont think you want to eat them and then when you try them you dont want to stop. Kind of like when the people named Greenland and Iceland? Iceland was really the place to be but they named it Iceland so everyone would go to Greenland instead and Iceland could remain the hidden secret.
The other day- my son refused to try the kiwi and I rubbed it on his lips as he tried to get away from me. Then I told him to lick his lips and he was like YUMM! I said- I told you. Now he likes kiwi too. But I think we both just like to say the word kiwi!
