why? Today I got a wild hair and decided I was going to trade in my shoes for my old roller blades and take Samson on his walk. If I am not walking is it called a skate? Or since he stepped up the pace a bit is it called a sprint? Regardless - I wish I could have photographed myself in my stunning roller blades. My husband says the 80's were calling them and he told me he threw them out. I was heartbroken with disappointment but alas, I found them in the garage. I loved those in line skates and used them all the time in the 90's. And they still work great, albeit a bit beat up. And yes- I guess they look pretty dated. But I used to think I was so stylin'. I wonder what skates are like today? Maybe I should trade my skates in for some new skates and get back in the habit. Such a great work out.
This my before picture: my shoes I would normally wear to walk my dog. And the After: my stylin' skates I wore today to sprint my dog. I even stopped to get the poo. I can be pretty agile in these. But it has been a while and some man drove super slow around us which made Samson more skittish. I wanted to say- just go by. So if you are my friends and you drive the hood- keep an eye out for the lady on the skates being pulled by the 170# mastiff, I am sure it is quite the site.
