day 179: not sure how I feel

subject:  tigers
why? These gals were at the circus. They were so beautiful and majestic. How they were trained was incredible! I mean, what that man got these creatures to do - was impressive and they all knew their names.  However, after seeing how mad they were at that trainer. Oh man- they would roar at him and show their teeth and bat at him. I felt like he was going to get it at any minute. But then he snapped that whip and that really made them mad but they would definitely stay away.

Here is a great tiger leaping from one pad to the other.

Here is the trainer upside down- exposing his private parts so the tiger would leap through his legs. Seeing how mad they were at him- I am not sure I would want to expose myself like that. Doesn't it look like that cat is about ready to pounce.

But alas- the big cat lands on the platform.

Lastly, look how he gets them all to sit up on two legs.  Sure it is kind of cute- But I do feel bad for these creatures. I am not sure they are very happy to be there.

day 178: the greatest show on earth

subject: the cannon
why? so we went to the greatest show on earth - the circus.  This was the before, during, and after of the married couple who were shot through the cannons and landed into the big pillows. It was pretty cool.
The whole show was kind of fun especially because I can only remember going maybe once in my life.

Here are the cannons before they are raised....

Then they go into the cannons- can you imagine?

Safely tucked inside... The smoke on the bottom is the lighting of the cannons.

3...2....1..... Blast off!!! There they go....

POOF! Then they landed in the big pillows!
