why? Did you know you could write your mayor and ask that they proclaim a day for you? Well, you can! And Shannon did. Now if you know Shannon, you will know she is a very joyful and peaceful kind of gal. She actually wrote the mayor and asked that she declare October 1st Peace & Joy day! And you know what? The mayor did it! Signed, sealed, delivered! Ok, so October 1st has come and gone, however I think we can still spread the word (and start with ourselves) to embrace living in peace and joy.
