Just checking in...

Just checking in with myself. Since I say I want to show up and let God do the rest? Well what have I done lately to show up?  I actually went to Starbucks to "Show up" to work. I felt lately I needed a new "office" location. So I went to starbucks to NOT get distracted. Of course my huband laughed and thought it was going to be very distracting to me. But the kind of distraction I was trying to get away from was, doing the dishes, doing laundry, walking the dog, picking up toys, looking for food in the fridge, etc.  So I went to Starbucks to show up to work, I did get some work done, BUT I also got distracted in a good way. I met two photographers. They were super great and I truly enjoyed talking to them.  I loved being around the creative people, they were both so warm and so welcoming! Thanks Jayne and Kari. And thanks God for blessing me with new friends for my "just showing up!"
