why? when I was a little girl growing up in Ohio and Michigan, we would go to visit my grandparents. I distinctly remember going to ice cream stores and getting blue moon ice cream. It was bright blue, cold, refreshing, and I devoured it. It made me very happy. As I got older, the ice cream stores we would visit eventually stopped serving it. Eventually it either disappeared altogether or I just grew up and no longer wanted it. Out of the blue, Shawn and I were talking and I told him about blue moon ice cream. I started looking it up on-line and found out that Oscar's Creamery up on Louetta in Spring sold blue moon ice cream. I was excited because it really is a Michigan thing. And it had been years since I had it our thought of it. The other day we took a road trip so we could go eat it.
