day 80 & day 81: Cash's Birthday!!
subject: The Birthday cake
why? Cash had his 3rd birthday and his Grandma mailed him a birthday cake! It is such a cute gift. I decided I wanted to share with you the life-cycle of the birthday cake. I figure it constitutes two days of before and after. Before - the cake in the package, After the cake made. Before it is frosted and after. Before the cake decorated, and candles with lit, and after they are blown out! It was such a fun day and such a fun project for us!

Here is the cake with our little 3 year old, while we sing Happy Birthday to him.

Before: here he is blowing out his candles. That small speck to the left of the candle- I can't tell but may be his spray since he can't quite blow....

And lastly the candles are out. I love the smoke in this one. This is definitely an after photo.
