day 21: all worth it!
subject: baptism invite and the thank you
why? today I received a short but sweet note from one of my clients. This particular client and I have worked together for several years and she keeps coming back. I had the opportunity to photograph her first baby, I have worked on her holiday cards, I was there to design her babies 1st year birthday party invite, my invites have helped her throw parties, luncheons, & showers. I have helped her rodeo committee and her moms rodeo committee, recently I helped her announce her second baby and now her babies baptism.
Today she sent me this sweet note. What made the biggest impact on me was my work has become a keepsake for her. And the sentence before said she was picky. It made me want to cry. I am so thrilled I have had the pleasure to work with her and watch her family grow. I am delighted she is picky and she chooses to work with me, over again! I love hearing her ideas and having the opportunity to create something for her tastes and budget over and over again. I love that we have built a relationship and have gotten to know each other. She is a busy lady and I am so grateful she took the time to say thanks. If someone is on your mind, write them a little note today, it doesn't take much but in this modern day of emails (and blogs) a simple note can make it all worth while! Just show up and God will bless it!
The BEFORE: the baptism announcement I designed

The AFTER: the sweet note
