day 33: valentine's day
subject: our valentines
why? well today is valentine's day. My valentine is my husband and I am his. One thing I love about marriage is knowing my husband and loving him and knowing he loves me and knows me so well. There is just something wonderful about being in sync with one person. Though valentine's day is not a highly celebrated holiday in our home. We do acknowledge our love and like the reminder of a special holiday. We also believe our love reigns every day. But today- I just wanted to share with you how in sync our love is. Before is proof we both gave each other a card. The after is proof our cards are almost identical. He bought his card at a store near his office, I bought mine at the local Kroger. This is not the first time we have bought identical cards for each other. If you love someone, I challenge you in this week after Valentine's day to study your loved one and study them well. And don't stop studying after the week is over.

ReplyDeleteno- but upon closer examination I realized that they were obviously feet from the same photoshoot. Both pictures used for different cards and completely different sentiments. While Shawn's inside of card was sweet and touching- the card I gave him said on the inside: Other nights I lay there thinking I will no longer make you chili! Not as sweet but made him laugh.
